Welcome to the ResultsbyJOW website—a personal website where I will share resources that I have found useful to the policy and practice work I do in schools, districts, states, and professional organizations. I will be writing a quarterly newsletter Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring and an occasional blog about education issues that are on my mind and probably yours as well. And of course, there will be information about the new book–Blended Coaching: Supporting the Development and Supervision of School Leaders.
The Blended Coaching section will also include information about training opportunities that Gary Bloom and I can provide if you are interested. I will also provide a link to the National Policy Board for Educational Administration website where I serve as the Executive Director. NPBEA has useful resources, information about the Professional Standards for Educational Leadership (PSEL) and the National Education Leadership Preparation Standards (NELP). I will be adding guest podcasts and blogs and presentation decks that might be useful for your work.
I have had many requests to add a section about Women Leading Education. As you know I am committed to providing resources, inspirational stories and a place for women to connect. You can expect to see this in the future as well. So why RESULTS. The answer is pretty simple. Throughout my entire career which has spanned over 50 years, I have tried to improve the education system so that it is better for students. I always wanted to accomplish resolve problems of practice, educate all stakeholder, focus on what is best for students, unify all partners in order to collaborate on common goas, listen with empathy, and transform the system so students can excel. My work has always been about getting Results.
